Privacy Window Films – Stop Those Prying Eyes

PSSC Privacy Window Film can reduce the vision into any window by making it totally or semi obscure by applying a simple film to you’re existing glass that lets in approximately 69% of visible light or stopping 80% of solar heat this can be in a plain of patterned film or tinted or mirrored finish it can also have patterns or corporate design digitally cut out of the film to give you a bespoke finish. We can even print any design you like onto the film.

PSSC safety window films work by holding the glass together ensuring that if it glass breaks, it does so in a safe manner. The areas that need to comply are in the Building Regulations Approved Document K.

Critical locations that require protection

• Between floor level and 1500mm above that level in doors and in side panels within 300mm of door.
• Between floor level and 800mm in the case of walls, partitions and windows.
• Any part of a glass pane affected must meet the requirements in its entirety and not just in the relevant section.

Manifestation Film – Health & Safety With Style

It is a UK legal requirement that glazed screens and doors are clearly defined with manifestation to stop people walking into them. You have to create a contrast between the glazed panel and the manifestation being applied. This can be achieved by applying a frosted band, dots, squares or corporate logo. Adding a quality look to the glass without restricting the view.

PSSC can carry out a survey of your doors and glazed panels to provide you with a free quotation to install the manifestation to critical locations in the glazing between 850mm and 1000mm, and between 1400mm and 1600mm above the floor. Manifestation is traditionally created using a frosted film, the appearance of the film providing the glass with an acid-etched finish. Coloured Vinyl can also be used to give an amazing finish to your glass.
