Using a 100 micron BS 6206 / EN 12600 security film a team of two installed the film in 2 days.

Georgian Style Conservatory Roof

PSSC Window Film was recommended to this customer because of our quality installations on previous listed buildings and our outstanding service along with guaranteed warranties.

This water mill conservatory was getting too hot in the summer and was letting out the heat in the winter, so we applied a solar control Low E film that reject 80% of the solar energy and stops 99% of UV rays but keeps in 41% of the heat by reflecting it back into the room.

This achieved outstanding results for the customer who was very happy with the installation.

PSSC Window Film Installed a solar control privacy film to this house to stop people looking into the property when they walked or drive by. The occupants do not like to have the blind closed in the day time as they like to see out clearly and get the natural light coming into the room.

A reflective silver 35 window film was installed cutting vision into the room down and still enabled vision out. Letting in 32% visible light. This also reduced heat build up by 57% (total solar energy rejected) and stops fading of the furniture and flooring by 99%.

PSSC Window Film Was Given the order to install a solar reflective window film to reduce Glare and Heat build up in the new College making it more comfortable for the students to work in. This was achieved in Three phases each phase taking 1 day for a two man team.

PSSC Window Film was asked to install a clear safety film to these glass balconies as the tenants of these flats complained about them keep getting smashed by vandals.

We installed a 100 micron safety which conforms with the British standards BS6203 class b or the new term is EN 12600. This can stand about 100 pound per inch Break Strength and 65 lbs per square inch. Puncture strength.

PSSC Window Film installed a Specialist solar protection film, developed specifically for conservatories with polycarbonate roofs. This Coolkote film will block out 99% of the suns UV rays which helps reduce fading. It also reduce’s about 80% of the solar heat keeping it cooler.

This is achieved by applying the film internally to the roof panels which reflects the heat away.

PSSC Window Film was asked to install a solar control window film to the reception atrium glazing after the old blinds had been removed. This caused a major heat build up and glare problem, So PSSC installed a Duel reflective Titan window film which reduced 80% of the solar energy and 85% glare reduction. This was achieved in one weekend by a four man team for Health & Safety reasons and not to cause inconvenience to the Staff. PSSC needed to build high scaffold towers. All staff are PASMA certified

PSSC Window Film Installed a high reflective solar control film to this conservatory roof to stop the heat build up and glare that was stopping the owners from using the room when the sun gets hot. A silver 20 film was used which stops 81% of the glare and 78% of total solar control this also stops 99% of UV rays.

The installation was completed by a two man fitting team and was completed in 4 hours.

PSSC Window Film Installed an obscure solar film to this roof to reduce glare by 59% and reduce heat by 39% but the main reason was to hide the condensation marks that was showing in the broken down units.

This Film gave a nice look that was cost effective compared to the cost of changing the broken units.

PSSC was asked to install a solar control window film to the roof panels in the store as the sun light was shining on the till points and staff could not see the tills. This also helped reduce the heat as well.

This installation was completed in normal working hours and using scaffolding and safety harness was completed safely in three days by a team of three fitters.

The Old Soda Stream Building (Peterborough)

This building had a major refurbishment by R. G. Carter Builders (Peterborough) and needed modernising and repairing the windows. PSSC won the contract to install a reflective solar / security film to improve the aesthetic look of the old building bringing it us to date and give it a modern look. This also increased security by applying the reflective silver film which stops prying eyes looking in to see what can be stolen, hides the ugly beams between the floors. The film used also reduces excess heat build up and stops about 80% of the total solar energy from getting inside the offices. It cuts down air conditioning cost and reduces glare on the computer screens by 82% giving a more pleasant working environment.
